Orosil Smiths India Ltd to open 1st apparel showroom in Noida

Orosil Smiths India Limited altered its Memorandum of Association in the Annual General Meeting held on 30th September, 2019, to expand its operations in the area of apparels. However, the operations under the said segment has been delayed, due to ongoing pandemic.

The management was looking for the potential opportunity to grow in this segment. Now, the company has planned to start the business in this area and for the same purpose it has applied for the registration of Trademark "mingALL" on 01st December, 2021. The said application has been approved by Trademark Authority and is published in the Official Gazette.

The Company is about to start its 1st apparels showroom in Noida. Also, the Company is venturing to provide an online web-store to the new entrant and designers to promote their designs and to showcase their skills and talent, in order to bring them closer to their potential customers by the end of March, 2022, subject to keeping in view the effects of Covid-19 pandemic. The Company is in process to initiate to contact with such designers.

Shares of OROSIL SMITHS INDIA LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs. 7.07 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 6.74. The total number of shares traded during the day was 190992 in over 45 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 7.07 and intraday low of 7.07. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 1350313.00.
