SML ISUZU Ltd suspends production at its plant in Punjab

Due to sudden increase in the Covid cases (especially with highly infectious variant - Omicron), resulting in challenges / issues in the supply chain and likely impact on the demand of school buses, and to ensure safety of its employees and optimized the inventory, the Company has decided to temporarily suspend production at its Manufacturing Plant, located at Village Asron, Distt. Shahid Bhagat Singh Nagar (Punjab), effective from today i.e. Monday, 10th January 2022 to Saturday, 15th January 2022.

The Company is closely monitoring the current situation and ensuring customers' requirements and taking the appropriate actions as required.

Shares of SML Isuzu Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 671.60 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 670.15. The total number of shares traded during the day was 3131 in over 400 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 690.00 and intraday low of 663.85. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 2115286.00.
