Data Infrastructure Trust announces rights issue

At the meeting of the Data InvIT Committee of Board of Directors ("Committee") of Brookfield India Infrastructure Manager Private Limited, acting in the capacity of the Investment Manager of Data Infrastructure Trust (formerly known as Tower Infrastructure Trust) ("Trust") held today i.e. December 28, 2021, wherein the Committee, among others, considered and approved issue of units aggregating up to Rs. 3,180 million by way of a rights issue to eligible unitholders of the Trust as on specified record date ("Rights Issue"), subject to receipt of necessary approvals from statutory, regulatory and other authorities as applicable in accordance with the applicable provisions of the SEBI InvIT Regulations and other applicable laws.

Subject to approval of the unitholders of the Trust, issue of up to 52,870,104 units at a price of Rs. 110.46 per unit by way of preferential issue ("Preferential Issue") in accordance with applicable laws and pursuant to the securities purchase agreement dated July 20, 2021, as amended, for acquisition of Space Teleinfra Private Limited.
