Kings Infra Ventures Limited to create eco-friendly aquaculture tech park

The Board of Directors of Kings Infra Ventures Limited (Kings Infra) have considered and discussed about the incorporation of new subsidiary Company Kings Maritech Eco Park Limited (KMEPL).
Kings Infra will provide the land for KMEPL project. KMEPL will function as a separate entity on its own.
ITCOT Ltd, Chennai which is a joint venture of all India financial Institutions, State financial and Industrial Development Corporation and commercial Banks has been assigned the work of preparing the DPR for this project.
The three main goals of KMEPL are:
- Create a world class model of an integrated, eco-friendly aquaculture tech park.
- Create environmental, social and economic sustainability in aquaculture industry.
- Combat global warming and climate change with carbon negative food production systems
The Board also considered, approved to incorporate a special purpose vehicle Kings SISTA 360 Private limited as a technology interface platform for the aqua farmers.
- Mr. Shaji Baby John explained that the Company is in the process of launching Kings SISTA360 (System for Integrated Sustainable and Traceable Aquaculture - 360degree service to farmers).
- The creation of such a platform will probably be the first of its kind globally.
- Kings SISTA360 will connect farmers, importers, exporters, buyers, sellers, consultants, suppliers on a single IT Platform, catering to every need of the aqua farmer.
- This will be a global platform which can be accessed by farmers across the world.
He also added that subsidiary companies Kings Maritech Eco Park Limited and Kings SISTA360 Private Limited will together create immense value to the company.
The Board appreciated these unique and innovative ideas initiated by the Company.
Shares of Kings Infra Ventures Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 34.90 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 35.10. The total number of shares traded during the day was 101115 in over 146 trades.
The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 35.85 and intraday low of 34.75. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 3545721.00.
