Anjani Portland Cement Limited receives demand notice for Rs. 16.71 crore from power distribution company

Anjani Portland Cement Limited has received a notice dated November 20, 2021, received by the company on December 04, 2021, from the Southern Power Distribution Company of Telangana Limited (A Govt. of Telangana Undertaking), demanding Differential Wheeling / Transmission charges between the tariffs and wheeling agreements of Rs.16,71,96,831/- (Rupees Sixteen Crore Seventy One Lakh Ninety Six Thousand Eight Hundred and Thirty One Only).

The company is examining the demand notice and will take appropriate action under law.

Shares of Anjani Portland Cement Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 307.00 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 306.95. The total number of shares traded during the day was 6988 in over 572 trades.
