Unichem Laboratories Ltd announces ANDA approval for Aripiprazole Tablets

Unichem Laboratories Limited has announced that it has received ANDA approval for its Aripiprazole Tablets USP, 2 mg, 5 mg, 10 mg, 15 mg, 20 mg, and 30 mg from the United States Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) to market a generic version of Abilify® Tablets, 2 mg, 5 mg, 10 mg, 15 mg, 20 mg, and 30 mg, of Otsuka Pharmaceutical Company, Ltd.

Aripiraprazole tablets are indicated for Schizophrenia and Irritability associated with Autistic Disorder. The product will be commercialized from Unichem's Ghaziabad Plant.

Shares of Unichem Laboratories Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 223.25 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 210.70. The total number of shares traded during the day was 18938 in over 1226 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 226.10 and intraday low of 211.70. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 4152159.00.
