SJVN bags 100 MW Grid Connected Solar PV Power Project

SJVN has bagged 100 MW Grid connected Solar PV Power Project from Punjab State Power Corporation Ltd (PSPCL) through Tariff based Competitive Bidding Process, on Build Own and Operate (BOO) basis through e Reverse Auction (e-RA) at a tariff of Rs. 2.69 per unit.

The tentative cost of Construction of this project is Rs. 545 Crores. The project is expected to generate 245.28 MU in the first year, while the cumulative energy generation over a period of 25 years would be around 5643.52 MU. The Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) shall be signed between PSPCL and SJVN for 25 years.

Shares of SJVN Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 29.40 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 28.65. The total number of shares traded during the day was 248588 in over 1456 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 29.50 and intraday low of 28.65. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 7283944.00.
