Knowledge Marine & Engineering Works Limited purchases vessel TSHD Cauvery

Knowledge Marine & Engineering Works Limited has purchased a 2004 built, 1700 Cubic Meter hopper capacity vessel "TSHD Cauvery" from M/s Khodiyar Trading, Gujarat, at a very attractive value of INR 6,68,79,777 /- (Indian National Rupees Six Crores Sixty-Eight Lakhs Seventy-Nine Thousand Seven Hundred and Seventy-Seven) on 7 October, 2021.

The said ship is purchased by the Company for future business expansion and upcoming projects in India and abroad. The acquisition allows the company to dredge and dispose an additional volume of 2.5 Million Cubic Meters per year.

This acquisition puts the company amongst the selected few Indian companies to own and operate Trailing Suction Hopper Dredgers in India and abroad.

Shares of Knowledge Marine & Engineering Works Ltd was last trading in BSE at Rs. 85.35 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 77.60. The total number of shares traded during the day was 18000 in over 6 trades.
