JSW Ispat Special Products Ltd reports YoY jump, QoQ drop in production

JSW Ispat Special Products Limited has announced the figures of production for the quarter ended 30th September 2021.

The Crude steel production for the quarter ended 30th September, 2021, (Q2FY22) was 0.13 million tonnes (MT) as against 0.14 MT in Q1 FY22, a drop of 12% QoQ and 0.05 MT in Q2FY21, a growth of 167% YoY.

The production for Q2'22 was lower mainly due to shutdown of power plant for maintenance and consequent impact on production at Raipur and shutdown of blast furnace for 3 days for maintenance & stabilisation of slab caster at Raigarh.

Shares of JSW Ispat Special Products Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 33.45 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 32.95. The total number of shares traded during the day was 302666 in over 868 trades.
