Zydus Cadila receives tentative approval from USFDA for Adapalene and Benzoyl Peroxide Gel

Zydus Cadila has received tentative approval from the USFDA to market Adapalene and Benzoyl Peroxide Gel 0.3%/2.5%. (USRLD: Epiduo Forte). Adapalene and Benzoyl Peroxide combination is used to treat acne. It works by killing the bacteria that cause acne and by keeping the skin pores clean. The drug will be manufactured at the group's Topical plant at Ahmedabad.

The group now has 323 approvals and has so far filed over 400 ANDAs since the commencement of the filing process in FY 2003-04.

Shares of Cadila Healthcare Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 549.55 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 550.10. The total number of shares traded during the day was 88877 in over 2006 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 557.35 and intraday low of 548.45. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 49086646.00.
