Ashok Leyland Limited posts 14% YoY increase in sales during September 2021

Ashok Leyland Limited has reported sales figures for the month of September 2021. The company has reported 14% YoY increase in sales during September 2021 at 9533 units as against 8332 units in September 2020. Domestic sales increased 12% September 2021 at 8787 units as compared to 7835 units in September 2020.

LCV sales was down 5% YoY at 4473 units in September 2021 as against 4702 units in September 2020. Domestic LCV sales decreased 7% YoY to 4258 units during September 2021, as compared to 4567 units in September 2020.

M&HCV sales increased 39% YoY to 5060 units in September 2021, as against 3630 units in September 2020. M&HCV bus sales was up 34% YoY to 440 units in September 2021 as compared to 328 units in September 2020. M&HCV Trucks sales was up 40% YoY at 4620 units, as against 3302 units in September 2020.

Domestic M&HCV sales was up 39% YoY at 4529 units, as compared to 3268 units in September 2020. Domestic sales of M&HCV trucks was up 36% to 4341 units in September 2021 as against 3192 units in September 2020. The domestic sales of M&HCV Bus increased 147% to 188 units in September 2021, as compared to 76 units in September 2020.

Shares of Ashok Leyland Ltd., was last trading in BSE at Rs. 130.65 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 133.85. The total number of shares traded during the day was 1670987 in over 11988 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 134.45 and intraday low of 129.75. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 220568539.
