POWERGRID increases stake in Energy Efficiency Services Limited

POWERGRID has infused fresh equity of Rs. 407,49,16,500/- in Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL), a Joint Venture Company of POWERGRID, NTPC, PFC and REC. With this infusion, POWERGRID shareholding in EESL is now stood at Rs.463,61,00,000/- and the paid up share capital of EESL is Rs. 1390,82,00,000/-.

Shares of POWER GRID CORPORATION OF INDIA LIMITED was last trading in BSE at Rs. 177.85 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 174. The total number of shares traded during the day was 354899 in over 3157 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 178.95 and intraday low of 173.8. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 62939747.
