HPL Electric & Power launches three new switchgear products at the 14th Renewable Energy India Expo

HPL Electric & Power today launched three new switchgear products - DC Switch Disconnector up to 1500V DC and 800V AC in 2 3 & 4 Pole configurations at 14th Edition of Renewable Energy Expo 2021. The new switchgear products were unveiled by Shri Bhagwanth Khuba, Minister of State, New and Renewable Energy, Chemicals and Fertilizers, Government of India at the event.

These products are compatible with solar/ PV applications as well as for traditional PV Applications."

The load break switch is a high performance sturdy switch in a compact frame. It provides safe isolation even at low voltages and up to 800V AC. The isolator can perform equally well on either on roof or ground mount solar panel applications. Moreover, the switches have inbuilt safety measure to quench arcs within the mould with the help of Arc Chutes. It also gives efficiency that leads to the low power losses.

The new DC Disconnectors are built particularly for PV applications and are very robust and long-lasting. They have a rated voltage of up to 1500VDC and can be utilised in PV power systems. They provide safe electrical isolation in presence of Arc Chutes to evade chances of hazards due to Arcs developed in DC Circuits. The switches make and break quickly under load conditions.

The Renewable Energy India Expo is an annual event in India organised by Informa Markets to promote the renewable energy sector and help it evolve faster.The 14th edition of the Renewable Energy India (REI) Expo is held at the India Expo Mart in Greater Noida from September 15th to 17th, 2021. The Indian Biogas Association (IBA), Cleantech Business Club (CBC), Bridge to India (BTI), National Solar Energy Federation of India (NSEFI), and Indo German Energy Forum-Support Office will kick off the much-anticipated and well-respected event in the energy field (IGEF-SO). The three-day event in India, produced by Informa Markets, is expected to draw 40,000+ trade attendees, with 120 exhibitors expected to present their exhibits.

Shares of HPL Electric & Power Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 70.4 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 69.95. The total number of shares traded during the day was 6496 in over 241 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 71.4 and intraday low of 69.8. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 456900.
