BLS International partners with National Health Authority as service provider to process Ayushman Bharat Cards across India

BSE, NSE and MSE listed (BSE: 540073; NSE: BLS; MSE: BLS), BLS International, a trusted global tech-enabled services partner for governments and citizens, announced today about its empanelment for processing Ayushman Bharat cards under Pradhan Mantri - Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY) by National Health Authority, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India. The AB-PMJAY scheme offers financial security against medical treatment costs, medicines, diagnostics, and pre-hospitalization expenses.

BLS will start processing Ayushman Bharat cards across India for the people to avail healthcare services at any of the empanelled hospitals in their respective regions, effective immediately. The cover includes cashless and paperless access to healthcare services for the beneficiary at the point of service in any of the empanelled hospitals.

Commenting on this, Mr. Shikhar Aggarwal, Joint Managing Director, BLS International, said, "We are excited to be empanelled to process Ayushman Bharat cards and play an integral role in this initiative. The Ayushman Bharat was initiated with the objective to provide financial protection and improved access to healthcare to ~10.74 crore families. The AB-PMJAY provides a health insurance cover of up to Rs. 5 lakhs per family per annum.

Shares of BLS International Services Ltd was last trading in BSE at Rs. 243.9 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 245.2. The total number of shares traded during the day was 73511 in over 2410 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 252 and intraday low of 240. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 18142922.
