V-Mart Retail Limited increases store count with new stores and acquisition of Unlimited stores

V-Mart Retail Limited has taken over and started operations of the 74 stores of "Unlimited" in South and West India. Additionally the company has opened four new stores, two in the state of Bihar and one each in the state of Delhi and Uttar Pradesh, and has closed one store in the state of Rajasthan in the preceding month.

With this the total number of V-Mart stores now stands at 363 stores as at 2nd September, 2021, including the newly acquired 74 stores and assets of "Unlimited".

Shares of V-Mart Retail Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 3653 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 3594.55. The total number of shares traded during the day was 2595 in over 905 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 3751.75 and intraday low of 3610.4. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 9516527.
