Balu Forge Industries Ltd has joined the U.N. Global Compact as a signatory & it will be integrating the principles of the Compact into business practices with an objective of creating a sustainable world built on strong principles laid down by the above initiative.
The company strongly supports the Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact on human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption. The company expressed its intent to implement those principles. It is committed to making the UN Global Compact and its principles part of the strategy, culture and day-to-day operations of the company, and to engage in collaborative projects which advance the broader development goals of the United Nations, particularly the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
This announcement further builds on company's commitment to the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) program with a strong focus on its key long term objective; to be a company that all stakeholders can be proud of. The company is committed to be an active contributor to change and joining UN Global Compact as a signatory reaffirms its pledge to ESG.
