Gobind Sugar Mills Ltd stops Ethanol plant due to molasses shortage

Gobind Sugar Mills Limited ("GSML"), a material subsidiary company of Zuari Global Limited, has stopped its Ethanol Plant due to shortage of molasses stock and it has started annual maintenance with effect from today i.e. 20th August 2021.

GSML is exploring molasses availability and the plant will be re-started accordingly. The company will announce once Ethanol plant operation of GSML resumes.

Shares of Zuari Global Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 123 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 124.9. The total number of shares traded during the day was 5118 in over 87 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 126.85 and intraday low of 119.05. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 628604.
