Dhunseri Tea & Industries Limited allots 35,02,476 Bonus Equity Shares

The Board of Dhunseri Tea & Industries Limited, at its meeting held today, allotted 35,02,476 Bonus Equity Shares of Rs. 10/- each fully paid up in the proportion of 1 (One) Bonus Share of Rs. 10/- each for every existing 2 (Two) fully paid-up Equity Shares of Rs. 10/- each, to those Members' whose names appear in the Register of Members of the Company or in the Register of Beneficial Owners as on the Record date i.e., August 6, 2021.

Consequently, the paid-up share capital of the Company has increased from Rs. 7,00,49,510/- to Rs. 10,50,74,270/- divided into 1,05,07,427 Equity Shares of Rs. 10/- each.

As part of the aforesaid allotment 2,443 Bonus Equity Shares representing fractional entitlement(s) of eligible Members have been consolidated and allotted to the Trustee. The Trustee will sell such equity shares at the prevailing market rate and pay to the Company the net sale proceeds thereof, after adjusting therefrom the cost and expenses in respect of such sale, for distribution to Members in proportion to their fractional entitlements.

Shares of Dhunseri Tea & Industries Ltd was last trading in BSE at Rs. 306.5 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 312.45. The total number of shares traded during the day was 4127 in over 379 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 310 and intraday low of 285.6. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 1239919.
