CESC's subsidiary emerges highest bidder for power distribution in Chandigarh

CESC's wholly owned subsidiary, Eminent Electricity Distribution Ltd. has emerged today as highest bidder for acquiring 100% stake in power distribution company for Union Territory of Chandigarh.

The above acquisition for Distribution license is subject to further formalities as prescribed under the tender documents including receipt of letter of intent.

Shares of CESC Limited, was last trading in BSE at Rs. 788.7 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 800.05. The total number of shares traded during the day was 20898 in over 1909 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 816.25 and intraday low of 786.5. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 16685411.
