Ashok Leyland Limited reports 81% YoY increase in July 2021 sales to 8650 units

Ashok Leyland Limited has reported sales figures for the month of July 2021. The company has reported 81% YoY increase in sales during July 2021 at 650 units as against 4776 units in July 2020. Domestic sales was 90% higher in July 2021 at 8129 units as compared to 4283 units in July 2020.

LCV sales was up 57% YoY at 4828 units in July 2021 as against 3070 units in July 2020. Domestic LCV sales increased 67% YoY to 4656 units during July 2021, as compared to 2783 units in July 2020.

M&HCV sales increased 124% YoY to 3822 units in July 2021, as against 1706 units in July 2020. M&HCV bus sales was up 19% YoY to 291 units in July 2021 as compared to 245 units in July 2020. M&HCV Trucks sales was up 142% YoY at 3531 units, as against 1461 units in July 2020.

Domestic M&HCV sales was up 132% YoY at 3473 units, as compared to 1500 units in July 2020. Domestic sales of M&HCV trucks was up 142% to 3347 units in July 2021 as against 1385 units in July 2020. The domestic sales of M&HCV Bus increased 10% to 126 units in July 2021, as compared to 115 units in July 2020.

Shares of Ashok Leyland Ltd., was last trading in BSE at Rs. 132.8 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 125.25. The total number of shares traded during the day was 7812472 in over 59922 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 137.45 and intraday low of 126.5. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 1045694311.
