Trident Limited commissions expansion project

Trident Limited has expanded its Yarn Segment and also commenced its commercial operations under the same.

The existing capacity was 5,27,808 Spindles & 6,984 Rotors and 160 Air Jet and capacity utilization was 84% (FY21). The capacity addition was 61,440 Spindles & 480 Rotors including other balancing equipment. The date of Commercial Operation of the project is July 27, 2021. The investment was INR 338 Crores which was funded through external borrowings of INR 253 Crores and internal accruals of INR 85 Crore.

This capacity addition shall further strengthen the position of the Company in Textile Sector.

Shares of TRIDENT LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs. 18.8 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 17.95. The total number of shares traded during the day was 14377580 in over 9772 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 18.8 and intraday low of 18.2. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 269302687.
