Tata Power-DDL launches exclusive scheme on '5-star All Weather Inverter AC' for its consumers

Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited (Tata Power-DDL), a leading utility supplying electricity to a populace of 7 million in North Delhi, has tied up with Voltas for an exclusive scheme on energy efficient '5 star All Weather (Hot and Cold) Inverter Air Conditioner' for its consumers.

Tata Power-DDL has been a frontrunner in introducing energy-efficient and safe electrical products for its customers. With this launch, they have added another energy efficient product to its existing product portfolio of LED Bulbs, Tube Lights, ELCBs and Ceiling Fans. The company aims to promote the usage of energy efficient products among its consumer base which will result in energy saving and reduction in electricity bills.

Under this scheme, Tata Power-DDL's consumers can buy new ACs or exchange their old ACs for 1 Ton and 1.5 Ton BEE 5-star rated All Weather Inverter ACs. This scheme is open for all segments of customers.

The scheme has been launched especially targeting the residential consumer as the domestic sector accounts for almost 50% of energy consumption in Delhi and power consumption of ACs is a major component of the same. The usage of the 5-star rated ACs can help reduce electricity consumption sharply.
