Lakshmi Overseas Board to consider stock split

Lakshmi Overseas Industries Ltd has announced that a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company will be held on October 20, 2006 to consider and approve the following:

1. To take on record the Unaudited Financial Results for the quarter ended September 30, 2006.

2. To incorporate the wholly owned subsidiary of the Company.

3. To split the shares of Rs 10/- each into shares of Rs 2 each.

4. To fix the date of the Extra Ordinary General Meeting of the Company to take approval of the members to the aforesaid matters.
