Standard Life has sold 4.99% stake in HDFC Life Insurance Company Limited

Standard Life (Mauritius Holdings) 2006 Limited ("Standard Life"), one of the promoters of HDFC Life Insurance Company Limited, have undertaken a sale of 100,845,104 Equity shares of the Company (representing approximately 4.99% of the total issued and paid-up equity share capital of the Company) on June 29, 2021.

Upon the completion of the sale, Standard Life will hold 78,694,105 equity shares (representing approximately 3.89% of the total issued and paid-up equity share capital of the company).

Shares of HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd was last trading in BSE at Rs.686.4 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 686.35. The total number of shares traded during the day was 123261 in over 3588 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 695.9 and intraday low of 685.05. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 85062843.
