Shilpa Medicare Limited Launches, first time in the world fast dissolving Oral Thin Films of Paracetamol, Molshil® Oral Thin Films in India

Shilpa Medicare Ltd., a research-led global integrated pharmaceutical company, today announced another first time in the world Oral Thin Film formulation, a pediatric dose Paracetamol Oral Thin Film, under the Brand name Molshil®.

Shilpa received approval for Molshil® Oral Thin Films after sufficiently complying bioequivalence requirements.

Shilpa's Paracetamol Oral Thin Films are patent protected and are first of this kind in the world.

The new presentation of Paracetamol from Shilpa will have benefits of easy administration, excellent palatability and overcome disadvantages of presently available pediatric formulations like dose variation, sedimentation or poor suspendability, presence of alcohol, messy and crystallized bottles in usage, fragile glass bottles etc.

Shilpa has manufacturing facilities for paracetamol at both Hyderabad and Bangalore.

Shilpa has launched Paracetamol Oral Thin Films as 60 mg and 120 mg strengths in Orange Flavor.

Shares of SHILPA MEDICARE LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.537.35 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 533.25. The total number of shares traded during the day was 37030 in over 1380 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 547.1 and intraday low of 521.85. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 19924190.
