Apollo Proton Cancer Centre, the first Proton Therapy Centre in South Asia & the Middle East today inaugurated a drive-through vaccination camp. The camp was flagged off by Ms. Preetha Reddy, Vice Chairperson, Apollo Hospitals Group, at Apollo Proton Cancer Centre's parking lot.
The inhibition of stepping inside a hospital for vaccination has been a barrier for many in taking the vaccination on time. This temporary drive-through vaccination camp at Apollo Proton Cancer Centre. People can take the dosage without stepping out of their car. Post vaccination they can park their vehicles in specially allotted spots and remain in their car for 20 mins for post vaccine observation and drive home safely.
Speaking at the launch, Ms. Preetha Reddy, Vice Chairperson Apollo Hospitals Group, said, "After noticing people not getting vaccinated in fear of waiting in crowd, we have started this by expressing extra safety through our Drive-thru camp. The camp witnessed enthusiastic participation from the public and we are totally committed to this cause because every dose of vaccination is of prime importance".
