NHB levies penalty on PNB Housing Finance Limited

National Housing Bank (NHB) vide its letter no. NHB (ND)/HFC/DOS/OUT-02760/2021 dated June 11, 2021 has advised PNB Housing Finance Limited to pay a penalty of INR 80,000 plus GST for non-compliance with policy circular no. 58 and 75 regarding disbursement of home loans in the year 2015 for the projects namely "Pushpban" and "Chaitraban" situated at Village Pirangute, Taluka Mulshi, District Pune ("Project") duly promoted and developed by DSK.

The Company has made a representation to NHB on June 14, 2021 to re-consider the penalty as this matter was earlier dealt with by the NHB in October 2019 and a caution advise was then issued.

Shares of PNB Housing Finance Ltd was last trading in BSE at Rs.738.05 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 776.85. The total number of shares traded during the day was 29554 in over 1402 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 770 and intraday low of 738.05. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 21870217.
