Bank of India allots 42,11,70,854 shares to Government of India

Bank of India has allotted 42,11,70,854 fresh equity shares of Rs.10/- each to Government of India (Promoters) at a price of Rs.71.23 (including share premium of Rs.61.23) per share amounting to Rs.3,000 Crore through preferential issue.

Shares of BANK OF INDIA was last trading in BSE at Rs.80.45 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 80.75. The total number of shares traded during the day was 518229 in over 2990 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 81.6 and intraday low of 80.1. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 41846049.
