Ashok Leyland Limited's May 2021 sales volume increases 125% YoY

Ashok Leyland Limited has reported sales figures for the month of May 2021. The company has reported 125% YoY increase in sales during May 2021 at 3199 units as against 1420 units in May 2020. Domestic sales was 114% higher in May 2021 at 2738 units as compared to 1277 units in May 2020.

LCV sales was up 8% YoY at 1246 units in May 2021 as against 1154 units in May 2020. Domestic LCV sales increased 9% YoY to 1225 units during May 2021, as compared to 1126 units in May 2020.

M&HCV sales increased 634% YoY to 1953 units in May 2021, as against 266 units in May 2020. M&HCV bus sales was up 100% YoY to 329 units in May 2021 as compared to 0 units in May 2020. M&HCV Trucks sales was up 511% YoY at 1624 units, as against 266 units in May 2020.

Domestic M&HCV sales was up 902% YoY at 1513 units, as compared to 151 units in May 2020. Domestic sales of M&HCV trucks was up 846% to 1428 units in May 2021 as against 151 units in May 2020. The domestic sales of M&HCV Bus increased 100% to 85 units in May 2021, as compared to 0 units in May 2020.
