Grasim Industries Ltd board recommends dividend of Rs. 5 and special dividend of Rs. 4

The Board of Directors of Grasim Industries Ltd has recommended a dividend of Rs. 5 per equity share and a special dividend of Rs. 4 per equity share for the year ended 31st March 2021, taking the total dividend to Rs. 9 per equity share. The total outflow on account of the dividend would be Rs. 592 Cr. In terms of the provisions of the Finance Act, 2020, dividend shall be taxed in the hands of shareholders at applicable rates of tax and the Company shall withhold tax at source appropriately.
