Torrent Power Ltd board recommends final dividend of Rs. 5.50

The Board of directors of Torrent Power Ltd at its meeting held today, has considered and recommended to the Members a Final Dividend of ₹ 5.50 per equity share on 48,06,16,784 nos. of equity shares of ₹ 10 each. The final dividend, if declared by the Members at the ensuing AGM will be paid to the Members subject to deduction of tax at source on or before September 03, 2021. Earlier an Interim Dividend of ₹ 5.50 per equity share was paid during Q4 FY 2020-21.

Shares of TORRENT POWER LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.433 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 435.95. The total number of shares traded during the day was 59152 in over 1785 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 437 and intraday low of 423. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 25515639.
