NEPC Agro to explore new business opportunities

NEPC Agro Foods Ltd has announced that a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company will be held on October 17, 2006, inter alia, to transact the following business:

1. To consider development of 200 acres out of 2000 acres of Tea Garden lands, at 5000 feet above sea level already available with the Company and more particularly to adopt and promote Eco Tourism within the Tea Garden area.

2. To explore possibility and consider proposed of construction of 100 residential bungalows as well as put up a Five Star Hotel over an extent of 100 acres of lands within the Tea Garden area.

3. To consider issue of preferential allotment of shares for the above business plans.
