Asian Paints Ltd board recommends final dividend of Rs. 14.50

The Board of Directors of the Company at their meeting held today, have approved and recommended payment of final dividend of Rs. 14.50 (Rupees fourteen and paise fifty only) per equity share of the face value of Re.1 (Rupee one) each for the financial year ended 31st March, 2021, subject to approval of the shareholders at the ensuing 75th Annual General Meeting (AGM).

The total dividend for the financial year ended 31st March, 2021, aggregates to Rs. 17.85 (Rupees seventeen and paise eighty five only) per equity share of the face value of Re.1 (Rupee one) each, including the interim dividend of Rs. 3.35 (Rupees three and paise thirty five only) per equity share as approved by the Board of Directors at their meeting held on 22nd October, 2020, which was paid thereafter.

The Company has fixed Friday, 11th June, 2021 as the Record Date for determining entitlement of members to final dividend for the financial year ended 31st March, 2021. The dividend, if approved by the shareholders will be paid on or after Friday, 2nd July, 2021.

Shares of ASIAN PAINTS LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.2561 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 2557.5. The total number of shares traded during the day was 64092 in over 4986 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 2561.95 and intraday low of 2521.6. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 163054411.
