HDFC completes sale of stake in Good Host

Housing Development Finance Corporation Limited (HDFC) had earlier announced about entering into share purchase agreement for sale of 47,75,241 equity shares of Re. 1 each, representing 24.48% of the issued and paid up capital of Good Host.

The Corporation has today concluded the sale of 47,75,241 equity shares of Re. 1 each, representing 24.48% of the equity capital of Good Host to Baskin Lake Investments Ltd., at a price of Rs. 452.71 per equity share, aggregating to a consideration of Rs. 216.18 crore.

Post sale, Good Host has ceased to be an associate of the Corporation.

Shares of HOUSING DEVELOPMENT FINANCE CORP.LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.2479.3 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 2414.9. The total number of shares traded during the day was 384597 in over 8117 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 2485.05 and intraday low of 2373.3. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 930854909.
