Wipro completes deal with METRO AG

Wipro had earlier signed a significant strategic digital and IT partnership deal with METRO AG and announced take over the IT units of METRO AG - METRO-NOM GMBH in Germany and METRO Systems Romania S.R.L., as part of the transaction.

Wipro has now completed the aforesaid take over of METRO-NOM GMBH and METRO Systems Romania S.R.L. for a purchase consideration of EUR 52.04 Mn based on the financials at the time of completion of the transaction.

Shares of WIPRO LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.416.2 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 414.2. The total number of shares traded during the day was 454283 in over 7310 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 422.75 and intraday low of 414.5. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 189880916.
