Based on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee and their own consideration, the Board of Directors of Eris Lifesciences Limited at their meeting held on 31st March 2021 has approved the re-appointment of Mr. Amit Bakshi (DIN: 01250925) as a Managing Director of the Company for a further period of five (5) years with effect from April 1st 2021, subject to the approval of the shareholders, in the usual course.
The board also approved the re-appointment of Mr. Inderjeet Singh Negi (DIN: 01255388) as a Whole-Time Director of the Company for a further period of five (5) years with effect from April 1st 2021, subject to the approval of the shareholders, in the usual course.
Mr. Amit Bakshi and Mr. Inderjeet Singh Negi are not related to any other existing Director of the Company and have not been debarred from holding the office of Director by virtue of any SEBI order or any other authority.
Mr. Bakshi is the Chairman and Managing Director of the Company. Mr. Amit Bakshi has been on the Board of our Company since January 27, 2007 and was last reappointed with effect from April 1, 2016. He has previously worked with companies in the pharmaceutical sector in various capacities and has more than 10 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Mr. Amit Indubhushan Bakshi has been recognized as an 'Entrepreneur of the Year, 2013' by Ernst & Young.
Mr. Inderjeet Singh Negi is an executive Director of our Company. He holds a bachelor's degree in science from Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University, Srinagar (Garhwal). He joined the Board of our Company as a Director on January 27, 2007. He was last reappointed with effect from April 1, 2016. He has previously worked with Intas Pharmaceuticals Limited as a regional sales manager. He has more than 13 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
Shares of Eris Lifesciences Ltd was last trading in BSE at Rs.605 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 609.65. The total number of shares traded during the day was 2095 in over 239 trades.
