Central Bank of India updates on divestment of stake in Cent Bank Home Finance Ltd

Central Bank of India had entered into a binding agreement to divest its entire equity stake in Cent Bank Home Finance Limited to Centrum Housing Finance Limited, subject to approval from regulatory authorities.

Further to above, the Long Stop Date of the share purchase agreement being 31st March 2021 has lapsed. Therefore the said binding agreement / share purchase agreement stand rescinded with effect from 1st April 2021.

Shares of CENTRAL BANK OF INDIA was last trading in BSE at Rs.16.35 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 16.25. The total number of shares traded during the day was 498293 in over 2232 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 16.6 and intraday low of 16.25. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 8190767.
