Government of India invests Rs. 3000 crore in Bank of India through preferential allotment

Today, Government of India has infused capital of Rs.3,000 Crore in Bank of India for the purpose of preferential allotment of equity shares after obtaining shareholder's approval in the Extra Ordinary General Meeting and other related regulatory approvals.

Shares of BANK OF INDIA was last trading in BSE at Rs.67.85 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 69.75. The total number of shares traded during the day was 244836 in over 1869 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 70.6 and intraday low of 67.45. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 17018690.
