UltraTech Cement Limited prepays Rs. 5000 crores long-term loans

During the last week, UltraTech Cement Limited has prepaid its Long-Term Loans amounting to Rs 5,000 Crores. This is in line with the Company's endeavour to maintain optimal capital structure.

The loan repayments have been done through free cash flows that the Company has generated over the last few quarters despite the challenging circumstances and severe business interruptions during the first quarter of the current fiscal year.

Shares of ULTRATECH CEMENT LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.6778.8 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 6735.9. The total number of shares traded during the day was 24196 in over 4069 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 6875.75 and intraday low of 6747.05. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 164816766.
