Mrs. Rajni Bector to be appointed as Chairperson Emeritus of Mrs. Bectors Food Specialities Limited

Mrs. Rajni Bector will retire from the Board of Directors of Mrs. Bectors Food Specialities Limited after a long association as the founder and will relinquish her position as member of the Board w.e.f. March 31, 2021. The Board also took note of her splendid contribution in the progress of the Company. Under her able guidance, the company has built national brands in biscuits and bakery segments.

She will continue to guide, mentor and support the Company to ensure continuous growth and expansion of business in future besides pursuing her philanthropic interest.

The Board Members discussed this subject in detail and reluctantly accepted Mrs. Rajni Bector's decision and proposed to appoint her as the Chairperson Emeritus w.e.f. April 1, 2021 and extended the invitation to attend the Board Meetings of the Company as a mentor to the Board, which she graciously accepted.

After deliberation, the Board accepted resignation of Mrs. Rajni Bector, consequent upon her decision of retirement from the position of member of the Board of Directors of the company w.e.f. March 31, 2021.

As a part of Succession Planning, the Board further decided to elevate Mr. Suvir Bector who is presently working as Vice President Export to member of the Board of Directors. The Board appointed Mr. Suvir Bector as an Additional Director & Wholetime Director w.e.f. April 1, 2021 for a period of 5 years.

Mr. Suvir Bector, aged 26 years, has graduated with bachelor`s degree in arts with honours in management with marketing from University of Exeter and has a master's in global supply chain management from Cass Business School, City University in London. He has joined our Company on July 24, 2018 and handling biscuit export vertical of our company.

Mr. Suvir Bector is son of Mr. Anoop Bector, Managing Director and brother of Mr. Ishaan Bector, Whole-Time Director of the Company.
