Thermax signs technology agreement with Steinmiller Babcock Environment for Waste to Energy boilers

Thermax Babcock & Wilcox Energy Solutions Private Limited (TBWES), a wholly owned subsidiary of Thermax recently signed a know how transfer and license agreement with Steinmtiller Babcock Environment GmbH (SBE), Germany for Waste to Energy technology. The agreement was signed by Pravin Karve, CEO, TBWES and Thomas Feilenreiter, Managing Director, SBE.

As a part of the agreement, TBWES will design, engineer, manufacture and sell Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) fired waste to energy solutions incorporating SBE's well established grate and boiler technology.

Shares of THERMAX LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.1370 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 1386.15. The total number of shares traded during the day was 1171 in over 277 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 1428 and intraday low of 1357.7. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 1609608.
