BPCL to sell shares held by trust

A sub-committee of the Board of Directors of BPCL has approved the sale of BPCL equity shares which are held by the BPCL Trust for Investment in shares through accelerated book built offering of equity shares on the screen based trading platform of the stock exchanges. The total number of equity shares being offered is upto 15,89,93,397 equity shares held by the above trust.

In this connection, the trading window for the designated person of BPCL has been closed from 9th March 2021 until further communication.

Shares of BHARAT PETROLEUM CORPORATION LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.467 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 461.3. The total number of shares traded during the day was 247242 in over 3630 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 472.65 and intraday low of 462.3. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 115879147.
