Torrent Power Ltd updates on power distribution tender

Torrent Power Ltd had emerged as the highest bidder in the tender for 51% equity stake in Power Distribution Company for the Union Territories of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu. In this connection, the Hon'ble Bombay High Court has, suspended the tender process in a PIL case before the Court until further orders in the matter.

Shares of TORRENT POWER LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.414 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 404.55. The total number of shares traded during the day was 210929 in over 3959 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 429.35 and intraday low of 396. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 87847434.
