Ashok Leyland Limited posts 19% YoY increase in February sales

Ashok Leyland Limited has reported sales figures for the month of February 2021. The company has reported 19% YoY increase in sales during February 2021 at 13703 units as against 11475 units in February 2020. Domestic sales was 20% higher in February 2021 at 12776 units as compared to 10612 units in February 2020.

LCV sales was up 44% YoY at 5901 units in February 2021 as against 4107 units in February 2020. Domestic LCV sales increased 46% YoY to 5662 units during February 2021, as compared to 3867 units in February 2020.

M&HCV sales increased 6% YoY to 7802 units in February 2021, as against 7368 units in February 2020. M&HCV bus sales was down 81% YoY to 466 units in February 2021 as compared to 2474 units in February 2020. M&HCV Trucks sales was up 50% YoY at 7336 units, as against 4894 units in February 2020.

Domestic M&HCV sales was up 5% YoY at 7114 units, as compared to 6745 units in February 2020. Domestic sales of M&HCV trucks was up 44% to 6790 units as against 4706 units in February 2020. The domestic sales of M&HCV Bus dropped 84% to 324 units in February 2021, as compared to 2039 units in February 2020.

Shares of ASHOK LEYLAND LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.129.65 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 128.9. The total number of shares traded during the day was 3495912 in over 22534 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 134.2 and intraday low of 126.5. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 457507624.
