GAIL India Ltd executes SPAs with NTPC Ltd

GAIL (India) Limited (GAIL) has executed Share Purchase Agreements with NTPC Limited (NTPC) on 23rd February, 2021 for purchase of NTPC's entire shareholding (14.82%) in Konkan LNG Ltd. (KLL). Consequently, GAIL's shareholding in KLL increased to 92.15%. The company also approved sale of GAIL's entire shareholding (25.51%) in Ratnagiri Gas and Power Pvt. Ltd. (RGPPL) to NTPC. Consequently, GAIL's shareholding in RGPPL reduced to NIL.

Shares of GAIL (INDIA) LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.147.35 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 142.8. The total number of shares traded during the day was 1673250 in over 8997 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 148.7 and intraday low of 143.15. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 246634574.
