Liberty Shoes to restore normalcy in production soon

Liberty Shoes Ltd has announced about the present status of labour unrest issue as under:

- The production level at the Company’s three plants situated at Haryana is gradually coming back to normalcy and it is expected that the production level will reach the same level as it was before the unrest by December 31, 2006. The working at the Company’s Uttranchal Plant remained unaffected with the unrest and the plant has been operating at the desired level.

- The Company has expedited the implementation of its ongoing expansion projects and it is expected that the Himachal Pradesh project with 25 lacs pairs per annum capacities and Uttranchal II project having capacity of 15 lacs pairs per annum would be completely functional by December 2006.
