Century Plyboards (India) Ltd to expand MDF board unit at Hoshiarpur

The Board of directors of Century Plyboards (India) Ltd. at its meeting held on 9th February, 2021, discussed and approved proposal for expansion of the Company's Medium Density Fiber (MDF) Board unit located at Hoshiarpur in Punjab by making an additional capital expenditure of approx. Rs. 200 Crore. The existing operating capacity of the plant is 600 cbm per day which is expected to be increased to 1000 cbm per day, post this expansion.

Shares of CENTURY PLYBOARDS (I) LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.282.85 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 287.15. The total number of shares traded during the day was 68721 in over 2233 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 299.5 and intraday low of 278.65. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 19969240.
