IT department conducts search at office premises of Godfrey Phillips India Limited

The Income Tax Department had searched the office premises of Godfrey Phillips India Limited (the "Company") from February 3, 2021 to February 7, 2021 in connection with search carried out on a promoter of the Company under Section 132 of the Income Tax Act, 1961. The Company has extended full cooperation to the authorities and will participate in any proceedings, if required.

Shares of GODFREY PHILLIPS INDIA LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.934.9 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 959.75. The total number of shares traded during the day was 12865 in over 615 trades.
