Accentia Technologies to look for acquiring BPO companies in US

Accentia Technologies Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on October 12, 2006, inter alia, has transacted the followings:

1. The Operational Growth in the Company through the subsidiaries Geosoft Technologies (Trivandrum) Ltd and Iridium Technologies (India) Pvt Ltd viz., The BPO operations of the Geosoft and Software Products and Services business of Iridium have brought great strength to the Company’s Core Operations. The Board also reviewed the progress of proposed Amalgamation / Merger of these two subsidiaries with the Company.

2. The Board has authorized Mr. Pradeep Suseela Viswambharan to evaluate further options to acquire US based Business Process Outsourcing Services Companies to improve the operational margins going forward.
