GRAVITA's association with Korea Zinc

Gravita India Limited, a leading recycling company having a global procurement and manufacturing presence is glad to inform that the company has signed an annual agreement with Sorin Corporation, a subsidiary of Korea Zinc Co Limited-for supplying of approx 8,000 MT of refined lead to be executed in calendar year 2021, which at current lead prices would be an approximate contract value of INR 125 Cr.

Korea Zinc is a world's leading non-ferrous metal smelting company that has served as a foundation for the growth of the base metal industry in Korea. Established in 1974, it produces about 1.2 million tons out of various types of non-ferrous metals from zinc to lead, gold, silver, copper as well as rare materials such as indium. Sorin Corporation has its presence largely in South East Asian countries like Vietnam, Japan, South Korea, Philippines and India.

Mr. Yogesh Malhotra, Whole-time Director, Gravita India Limited said, "We are delighted to announce our association with Korea Zinc, which is one of the largest non-ferrous metal smelting companies in Korea and probably the world. This contract will help the company to strengthen its market presence in the South East Asian market."

Shares of GRAVITA INDIA LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.78.15 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 79.6. The total number of shares traded during the day was 5819 in over 108 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 80.35 and intraday low of 77.15. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 458298.
